I am just writing to say that I am getting married in 12 days. I really want to delete you, but I just can't. I fucking loved this blog for 4 years if my life. I really never look back, but I might want to someday.

I guess, I will keep this open. I just wanted to keep you up to date.

I just played one at Laura's friends house and it was BOAT loads of fun!

My life will then be complete.

First of all, HOW IS EVERYBODY!

I will now stop yelling.

All is well in the life and times of your favorite neighborhood lesbo. I am still happily in love with a lovely lady. Work is still....well work keeps on keepin' on at the Dyke-ho. But, I am in a much better place, it will be even better if I can somehow sneak into not having to work Saturdays....hmmmm.....suggestions welcome.

Now,let's attack the current task at hand...Sabres.

Predictions: I beleive it will be a tight one. Low scoring and tense. I am thinking 2-2 and then Drury scores the goal in the second over-time with like 3 minutes left. I think we will start to slow by the first overtime and then after a rousing "Win one for the Gipper" style pep talk from Lindy will have our boys exploding on the second overtime and fighting for our eventual win.

I do have a confession:

Whenever I see the "One Team One Goal" slogans I get a bit choked up. I am so proud of them and I hope we can continue on and win the cup, but if not...I am, again, proud to be a Sabre fan.

HELLO!!!

Well, I am back from the Florida. It was nice to get away, and annoying at times to be with my aunts and mom...but it was really gret to see my Gramps. He is looking and sounding really good. He turns 80 this year. AND! Our birthday is the same day. He loves that. I am turning 26, he is turning 80....good times!

So, my lovely Isobel (my 98 Chevy Prizm) died last Tuesday. It was like $800 to repair, so I decided to send her off to a good place in the junk yard somewhere...

BUT! I succeeded in getting a nice new car. I got a 2007 Chevy Cobalt LS. It is in the blue granite, and a four door and has just the perfect amount of rev for my liking. I picked it up and I am already in love with it. I got some great deals, so it isn't too expensive for me. I am buying it on a 3 year financing plan. YAY!

I am very very happy.

Other that, life is aok. I was happy to get away because I came back with a renewed sense of interest in my job. I am redy to go back and see all of the characters. I miss them. I will continue my job search, but I will try to have more of a gung-ho attitude while still there. It is a good job, that pays me well, and it affords me the nice things I like.

So, there.

Other than that, nothing new. Things are going very well with Laura. I am still very happy and in love.

I read 3 books on vaca, so I was hppy about that.

Hello to all of those in LJ land:)

All is well! Work is well....workie.

I just kinda go through it and get through my day. I updated my resume and made a cover letter and I will soon be sending out resumes to the rest of the world so others can see the greatness of Kathryn:)

Life in the apartment is fabulous. Matty and I get along very well, and my apartment stays relatively clean...except his room. Meh, he somehow lives in squalor. I just keep Liam out of it.

I am still with the lovely lady Laura. She sincerely makes me very very happy. I feel like a silly 14 yr old. It is weird to be with someone who you actually WANT to be with AND do! It is simply a win-win.

It will be about 3 months next week, and I think we will be together for a bit.

She has met all of my friends AND my family! They liked her a lot. I also met her family, they were impressed with me. I don't know if you all know this, but I am kinda a big deal.

I have been lacking in my reading, but I am now back with a vengence! AND! I am going to FLORIDA! I ma leaving Tuesday at 6:45 and I will be in FL at 10:30am. I will be there until the next Tuesday. My plan? Miller High Life, beach and books. I am going with my mom and my 4 aunt's. We are staying at my Aunt's condo. I am very excited. I will miss her, but I will paying attention to sleeping a lot and REEEEELAXING!

I am sure I will update more when I am there.

She now LOVES the Sabres. She called me at work to tell me that she saw Miller on Elmwood the other day driving.

I have been in this odd sense of....la la la la land lately.

I was a bit proactive on Friday, and then the lady called and it all went to hell...

Well, I made a to do list today and I plan on rocking it out. I told my "special new friend" that I will be out of commission until 3pm. I think I should be able to hold out;)

All in all, I am feeling very happy. I mean, I am still mildly miserable at work, but as soon as I leave the building I am looking forward to the rest of my day.

I really like this feeling of being liked a lot;)

We are taking things semi slow. I have no label yet. I am ok with that. She makes me happy and that is all I care about.

OK, well I have a to do list to tackle and then! WHO KNOWS! OK, kisses to all!

Well, I will alert to what is up with Kathryn now...

Moved in with my bro. We are all moved in, except a few things we still need to grab.

We did it on our own...which kinda sucked, but it means I never have to help anyone move ever again!:)

I don't want to move for a while...I think we will be happy here.

I got HBO! It makes me happy!

I met a girl that makes me smile a lot...

I am being good and not making a big deal out of it.

But, she is a lot like me and said I have beautiful eyes:)

Also, I got to see my favorite Hobo Josh on Thursday and it made me very happy! I miss you friend'o'mine!

other than that...nothing. I am eating now and happily in my new space.

Well, I am feeling 1 million times better today.

I am not really sure why, but I think it has to do with Oprah:)

No, but I do feel better so no reason to over analyze, I should just enjoy it!

I am going to be doing some major moving of things today. I want to get a good dent in the new place. I cleaned yesterday, and today I am going to out some stuff away and do some more packing. I really do think it will be a quick move.

For the Big stuff, I enlisted the help of a couple of the bog guys I know...and Hippie. I get to use the bio deisel truck to move the big stuff! YAY! I told the boys if they help me and my brother I will pay them. They said all I have to do is buy them some beer and pizza. Ahhh, boys.

I have had a lot of people around me bitch about the weather lately. I can honestly say I really don't mind it. I am a BIG fan of rain! And, with snow comes the hassel of it all.

OK, I guess I have nothing else to really say here....LATER!

I mean, I am not a fashionista by ANY means! Still, I think it is so fabulous! The people, the clothes (obv.) the attitudes are just so wildly decadent!

This has been a big couple of days!

SO! I checked the FedEx and it looks like my MACBOOK IS ON THE TRUCK AND ON IT'S WAY!!!!!!!!

WOOOOOP! I am very excited. as you can tell!

AND! We found the apartment!

My brother and I went to see this one at 447 Richmond between Highland and West Ferry. I know, like 2 blocks away from where I am living now. So, we go in and there is a very foreign woman who told us to go in and talk to her daughter. Vavavavooom! Pretty daughter!

So, she showed us the place and I just fell in love. I looked at Matty and just said, yes? He agreed! So, we told the lady we loved it! But, we wouldn't be able to move in until Feb 1, Jan 15th at the lastest. The woman wasn't too pleased with that. Still, we all chatted and the woman said, "I like you Kathryn and Matt." So, she said there were 2 other people who had looked at it, and want to move in on the 1st. So, she would let us know.

I came home, mentally decorated the house and started to pack up a bit. The major issue are the books. Everything else it pretty easy. Not to mention, I live on the 1st floor and this is on the first floor as well. 

So, I went to goodbar to watch the game, and see everyone. Then, I get a call from the woman....AND SHE LOVED US! And want's us to live there!

WOOOHOOOO!!! We got an apartment! I am very jazzed! And, it is $650 with everything! That is what I am paying now, AND NOW I WILL ONLY PAY HALF!

YAY! So, I called Ron and I told him that I was leaving on the 15th. And, that I wanted my security deposit back as soon as possible. Because I am leaving the 15th, should I only pay the half months rent? I think I should...:) That would REALLY piss him off! HAHA! We'll see. I think I will send that on and see what he says. 

SO! Now, my main goal is to start cleaning. Also, if anyone wants to help us move in, we would be happy:) It will be a very easy move, just down the street and all. Still, it would make it go faster with a couple of extra hands. The 15th  is MLKJr day so, celebrate diversity by helping a gay girl and a straight guy move in together:) 

I really do not think we will have any issues. If we do, I will simply off him a tissue.

So, it is official!

My brother broke his lease for his apartment, and I looked at a couple of places today.

Soon, we will be broadcasting our podcast from our conjoined apartment.

So, I watched the first episode of Real World Denver. I haven't watched it since the Chicago season. I thought Aneesa would rock...SURPRISE she was a crazy drunken lesbian.

So, I am watching it. And, they have been there for 36 hours. And, this one guy hooked up with one girl, and slept with the other...

It solidified that I absolutely HATE GIRLS AND ANNOYING GUYS!!!!!

Wow, I hate these type of people...HATE HATE HATE!

WELL!

This weekend was so far lovely and busy...

I worked on Saturday until 3:30. I was so incredibly happy to not have to work any longer...delightful!

Then, I went to our Girl's Tequlia night! It was wonderful! We had about 12 people, margarita's and jello-shots. Oh yeah...AND A LOT OF FOOD!

Everyone made something, so we were all stuffed after 20 minutes. But, good good food! Shana's spinach artichoke dip was the best...the secret: Chrushed Red Pepper! It gave a great kick to it.

I went home early, I was very tired and the margarita's were giving me some crazy acide reflux issues. So, I was home by 11:30, and in bed soon after.

Of course, I woke up at 7:30am. So, I caught up on my Daily Show and Colbert Report. Then, I went to the UU church at 11am. It was wonderful. I like to go there, and I have been going more since I ahve been off on Sundays. I forgot how it tends to center me and make me feel happy to be ina community.

After church, I drove to the lovely Otto's to meet the work guys for an OUT OF WORK INET SHINDIG OF FUN!

I got ther at about 1:30 and Scott, Jenny and the Hammer were there watching the Giants game. We ordered some wings and then the Manimal (aka Sheet'n'Bucket) showed up next. He solidified that good times will ensue. He was quickly followed by Josh and his lovely lady Sarah. Then, came the Chooch. Scott and Jenny left quickly. They probably had wedding shit to do. BORING! Manimal left kinda early as well. But, he was soon replaced by our favorite German, Tobi. Now, the really party started after the Hammer had a couple of cocktails...ok so I learned my new word for women will now be "Hot Tang". I will also refer to oral sex now as "The Turkey Neck" or "Playing the Upsidedown Piano". All of these amazing things were via the Hammer. I haven't laughed that hard in a very long time.
I left the boys at 4ish and I heading back to the Buff for the GoodBar X-Mas party. They close the bar and it is for friends and family. Open bar from 4-6 and FOOD! The food was so good! Pasta, meatballs, salad, sausage onions and peppers...AND HOT ROLLS! So lovely:)

It was a really great time because I knew so many people, and they were all drunk. The girls from the Tequila night and I were taking it easy, but we were obviously the only ones. It was really nice to see everyone and wish them a Happ Holidays and have some good food. Bobby's Mom did all of the cooking. It was delicious! And, the X-mas music and decorations were very nice. I had a nice time, but I was very tired. So, I left at 8ish and said my goodnights. It was odd for me because I actually said all of my goodbyes. I am a say to people around me and run out. But, I said my goodbyes to everyone and got a lot of hugs and kisses. I remembered why I hate to do that, IT TAKES FOREVER! It took like 20 minutes! 

Amanda made us all this crazy shot thingy, and it was actually good! It was a half of pint of woodchuck hard cider, and then you had a shot of bailey's and goldschalger. You drop the shot into the cider and drink it like a car bomb. I was like...umm...no? But, we all did it (6 of us) and it tasted like ginger bread! I couldn't even taste the alcohol, it was so sweet!

So,  now I am at home in my PJs listening to some Jason Collett. I will be soon watching some TV and going to bed. I plan on sleeping in as long as my body will allow tomorrow. I also want to do some laundry, and relax!

OK, so I just finished Kathryn's TACO DIP OF DESTINY! OK, it is just very yummy! I kinda want some now...hmmm...

No, we are having our Girl's Tequlia night. A bunch of girls, Sabres, food and margarita's. WATCH OUT! It should be a really nice time, I think. I hope. 

Then, tomorrow will also be a lot of fun with the I-NET OUT OF WORK SHINDIG AT OTTO's. Me and the work dudes rockin good times, wings and Iron Maiden. Sounds like a winning combo! 

I am looking forward to getting my estrogen full tonight, and talking nonsense with the boys tomorrow. 

I have some other stuff to say, but I am just not in the mood for a full post. But, remind me to talk about finding all my old high school stuff in my parents attic. 

OK, I will not make this a big....OH WOE IS ME! Where has the time gone!

Actually, I do give myself big "ups" to finally not being such a weirdo. I was that sterotypical "funny girl" in my high school. I was always funny and doing something odd and interesting. Thank god I calmed down...I was weird. 


OK, that is all I am saying. That and when I look at old pictures I can almost see in my eyes the hurt I was feeling. I was a very sad kid. But, I laughed a lot, so no one knew...
